Authorities were investigating after a boat washed ashore in Mission Beach on Monday night, San Diego police said.
The incident was reported about 8:30 p.m. near Ocean Front Walk and Manhattan Court, south of lifeguard tower 18. At least five people were aboard the boat when it washed ashore, police said.
Lifeguards responded. No further information was immediately available.
