BITS AND PIECES: Hydrangea Cove beach décor shop relocates
Hydrangea Cove, selling gift and beach cottage items, has moved to 845 Garnet Ave. Previously in business for six years on Turquoise Street, owner Susan Christopher said she took the opportunity to move her shop to an established retail area, just a-block-and-a-half from the ocean, with customer parking.
“We completely remodeled our new space to highlight the beach cottage look, including rooms with coastal colors and wood accents,” she said. “There is even a whimsical area with a bright blue dutch door, cottage siding and shingle roof — a recreation of the front of our cottage, less than a mile away in Mission Beach.” (858) 750-3567. Four titles left in Library Book Club’s year
The Pacific Beach Library Book Discussion Group is designed for adult readers and provides an informal forum for discussing a selected book each month. The group gathers at 6:30 p.m. on first Wednesdays in the library’s Meeting Room/Gallery. They choose the books that will be read throughout the year at the January meeting. Copies of each selection may be picked up at the Circulation Desk.
