Police seeking 19-year-old woman in connection with stabbing of 2 in Mission Beach

Police said the two victims, both 19 years old, were stabbed when an argument broke out at a celebration of life
Police were looking for a 19-year-old woman who they say stabbed two young adults in Mission Beach on Wednesday night, officials said.
The stabbings happened around 9 p.m. on Oceanfront Walk near Santa Barbara Place after an argument broke out at a celebration of life, police said.
The assailant used a knife to cut the upper arm of a 19-year-old woman and the right forearm of a 19-year-old man, cutting an artery, said Officer John Buttle.
The suspect then chased the victims around with the knife, Buttle said.
Police found the victims in the south alley of Jersey Court. Medics took them to a hospital to be treated for injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
The suspect was described as 5 feet, 3 inches tall and was wearing a white top, black hoodie, shorts and sandals.
